Shared hosting is one of the most basic forms of webhosting, with multiple websites on one server each with there own portian or webspace and bandwidth.

This hosting service includes user administration since it is shared by many users; this is a benefit for users who do not want to deal with it, but a hindrance to power users who want more control. In general shared hosting will be inappropriate for users who require extensive software development outside what the hosting provider supports. But on the other hand, shared hosting is cheaper than other types of hosting such as dedicated server hosting.

Reseller hosting is a form of web hosting wherein the account owner has the ability to use his/her allotted hard drive space and bandwidth to host websites on behalf of third parties.The certain portion of hard drive and bandwidth is allocated to reseller account, fo them to use as they wish.

Reseller hosting does not require extensive knowledge of the technical aspects of web hosting.
